Precautions for Using Gear Reducers
I. Precautions Before Assembling the Gearbox:
1. Before using the machine, the equipment shaft should be cleaned, and inspected for any dents or contaminants. If any are found, they must be thoroughly removed.
2. The operating temperature of the gearbox is 0–40°C.
3. Check whether the dimensional tolerances for the hole (or shaft) connected to the gearbox meet the specified requirements—specifically, the hole tolerance should be H7 (while the shaft tolerance is H6).
4. Before use, replace the highest-position block with a vent screw plug to ensure that gases inside the gearbox are properly vented during operation.
II. Equipment for Gear Reducers
1. The intelligent gear reducer device features a stable, shock-absorbing, and torsion-resistant support structure.
2. Under no circumstances should a hammer be used to tap pulleys, couplings, pinions, or sprockets onto the output shaft, as this could damage the bearings and shaft.
3. Application and Protection
1. After installing the speed reducer, check whether it operates smoothly and responsively. Before putting it into formal use, be sure to conduct a no-load test. Only after confirming normal operation should you gradually begin loading and running the equipment.
2. The gearbox must not be operated beyond its rated load capacity.
3. Before use and during operation, the gearbox should be checked to ensure the oil level is normal.
